What do your accolades say about you or better, yet... What do you say about them?
Do your accolades make you a better person? Do you let them determine how you treat people? Do you let them change who you are as a person?
Oftentimes, people will refer to you by your accolades, to remind you, who you are. To remind you of all that you've done and how far you've come. There are times as well when they are used to put you down.
People take notice of your confidence. Accolades can increase your confidence a lot.
What happens when you don't feel good because of them? You want to be modest in all that you've done, but others keep boasting about to where at a point you become uncomfortable.
Some prefer to keep their achievements low-key, avoiding attention, while there are moments when everything can be brought into focus.
At times our insecurities can have us in a space where we do them just to impress others meaning, we're doing it all for the reasons.
Some do things to make their parents happy, the accolades mean nothing to them so, all the recognition is too much for them, and rightfully so.
Salutations. Tribute. Homage. Commendation.
